Five Star To Acquire Eagle Vending

Five Star Food Service, one of Canteen’s largest franchises, has announced the acquisition of Eagle Vending Company Inc., a Marietta, GA based company.

Since it’s founding in 1983 by James Bryan, Eagle Vending has become one of Atlanta’s top convenience service provider. The company joined the Canteen franchise system in 2012, and currently offers micro-markets, full line vending, premium coffee, and also water services to nearly 1,000 locations across the greater Atlanta area. Eagle Vending has won numerous service awards over the last 35 years.

Due to contiguous territory borders, Eagle Vending was an important acquisition for Five Star. This allows them to expand into the metro Atlanta area. Five Star will continue servicing Eagle Vending’s customers out of its world-class facility to surrounding cities such as Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, and Smyrna. This acquisition is Five Star’s second of 2018 and second Canteen territory expansion in the same time frame.
