In case you missed it! This month was #NationalVendingDay – yes, that’s right, a whole day dedicated to celebrating the unsung hero of the workplace: the vending machine. This day is always celebrated on the first Thursday of March, designated by the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) to highlight the importance and convenience of vending machines to consumers. It conveniently falls on the first Thursday of March, so businesses, customers, and vending companies can celebrate without competing with other March holidays or traditions—like the chaos of March Madness. Because let’s be honest, who needs a buzzer-beater when you’ve got a snack ready in seconds?

The theme this year was #ConvenienceThatCares, and while it can be interpreted in many ways, ultimately, vending and convenience services are all about meeting people’s needs—giving consumers the freedom to choose anytime, anywhere, whether they’re on the go or just need a quick pick-me-up.
